Navdurga group

The Navdurga group is one of the Eastern & Southern India’s most respected business houses and is founded by Shri Sawarmal Gadodia under whose guidance the group grows from strength to strength. The group started in 1990 with the incorporation of M/s Scan Steels Limited (SSL), the flagship company of the group. SSL commenced its commercial production of Rolling Mill at Ramabahal near Rajgangpur, Distt. Sundergarh, Odisha. SSL was the first to start a DRI unit for manufacturing of sponge iron in the state of Odisha. The group gradually starting from a re-rolling mill over the period through acquisitions and mergers has become an Integrated Steel Producer with units coming in other parts of the country like Chhattisgarh, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh besides Odisha. Over the years, the group has added new manufacturing facility in Eastern, Central and Southern parts of India. During 2007, the group acquired Nav Durga Fuels Pvt. Ltd. in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh having manufacturing facility of Billets and in short span of two years was able to turnaround the face of the company by achieving profitability. Further in the southern part of India, the Company acquired an existing DRI unit of 200 TPD at Bellary, Karnataka in 2009 under Scan Steels Limited.

Sri Nimish Gadodia comes from an outstanding lineage of home-grown Industrialists and a hugely respected business house from the state of Odisha. An MBA Graduate from the prestigious Symbiosis Institute of Business Management Pune. He has spent the formative years of his life developing deep analytical policies and frameworks which led to creating a benchmark on which the Nav Durga Group operates. Under his outstanding leadership and business acumen, Navdurga Group has grown into a strong and profitable enterprise. He has transformed Navdurga Group into a powerful industrial house with a dominant presence in the steel sector across 6 states in India. With units situated at Odisha, Telangana,Chhattisgarh and Karnataka to name a few. Apart from steel,Nav Durga has also forayed into the Real Estate, Resorts, Tea and Aviation business verticals where it is continuously driving innovation and growth. He also enthusiastically fulfils his roles as a Trustee of various organizations such as Agrasen Bhawan Raigarh, Agrasen Bhawan Rajgangpur and Tri Shakti Dham Rourkela.
